A community-driven platform to preserve, teach, and celebrate the language and culture of the Abagusii people of Kenya.

Our Mission

Ekegusii, the language of the Abagusii people, is spoken by over 2 million people in Kisii and Nyamira Counties of Kenya — yet like many indigenous languages, it faces pressure from dominant languages in education, media, and daily life.This platform was built to make Ekegusii accessible and engaging — especially for the younger generation, diaspora Kenyans, and anyone curious about this vibrant community.
